Look who decided to share her opinion. Lil Mama, the artists who is really made a name for herself for crashing the stage during a Jay and Alicia performance, decided to compare herself to another New York female rapper, Nicki Minaj.
During an interview with BET, the topic of uplifting women and image was discussed...
Lil Mama Said:
"Nicki Minaj is a talented rapper,"
"She's out there, she's doing her. What she represents, I don't represent and she's doing something different, that's her lane. As the voice of the young people, Lil Mama, I focus on bringing up young girls to respect their bodies, respect thyself, do it up."
Very interesting that Nicki is always being talked about by other female artists yet she always makes an effort to push the fact that female artists need to stick together in a male dominated industry, just haters. btw lil mama Nicki Minaj is doinq her i dont see why rappers spend all of their time worrinq bout the next, maybe thats why Nicki is movinqq forward, proqressinq quickly and the rest of them are fallinq behind, lol whats tha last lil mama track you herd...well mine was Shawty qet loose.! haha *mwuah
